Bouncy Castle Hire & Inflatable Hire

1. How do I book?
The preferred method is by booking here on our website, alternatively you can Telephone us on 07551 578220 during office hours or use our contact form here

2. How much notice do I need to give for a booking?
You can book anytime however bookings get very busy so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

3. How much does it cost?
Please see the individual pages for all prices, prices may vary depending on your intended use i.e. home/business or location. All prices shown on our website are for private garden or hall hires, not corporate or public events. For these prices please get in touch to discuss your requirements before booking.

4. What do the prices include?
All booking prices include local delivery (within 15 miles of ky11), a small charge may need to be charged for out of this area. When hiring a Bouncy Castle You will also receive a blower, extension cable, circuit breaker and safety crash mat, the price also includes set up, inflation delivery and collection.

5. When are Checos available?
Our Services are available 7 days a week all year round including Bank Holidays.

6. How long do I get the inflatable for?
Any time between 7am - 6pm Max 7 hours. please see inflatables for prices.

7. Do you hire overnight?
Under certain circumstance this may be arranged, please contact us. We only hire our inflatables & bouncy castles overnight if they are in gardens that we feel are secure and must have a fence or wall and gate that can be locked of at least 6ft high.

8. Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes Checos require non-refundable 25% deposits for all bookings, Please note deposits are non-refundable and are non-transferable to any other hire. Apart from outdoor bouncy castles being cancelled due to bad weather.

9. How do I pay?
We require deposits at time of booking and remaining balance is due at cash only on delivery. All corporate events require final payment at least 7 days before the booking via Bacs. We do not accept Cheques.

10. What if I need to cancel?
If you cancel your booking before 14 days prior to the hire/event you will only loose your deposit,* Between 14 to 7 days you will be liable for 50% of the total booking cost however if you cancel within 7 days of your booking you will loose your deposit and be liable to pay Full Cost of the total hire.. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible. If we give a bulk price for group bookings and you cancel any of the agreed without notice you will be liable to pay for all bookings in total, however if you cancel after you have hired part of the agreed bookings then cancel you we be liable to pay for any hires within the bulk bookings, already taken in full price as seen on our website.

* This does not apply to cancellation on outdoor bouncy castles being cancelled due to bad weather.

11. What if it rains?
Unfortunately the bouncy castles cannot be operated in very wet or windy weather conditions due to safety reasons.The maximum wind gust aloud to hire out bouncy castles is 24mph by law. This is checked by the met office only.

12. Can the bouncy castle be set up on a slope?
No this is not possible however if it is a very slight slope it may be ok, you will need to discuss this prior to the booking.

13. How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable?
The bouncy castles take approx 20 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire. Please note it is your responsibility to make sure we have a suitable parking/drop area and cover any parking charges that may occur.

14. How much space is needed?
You will need to allow a minimum of 5 feet at the front and rear of castle and 3 feet either side this is to allow access and the blower at rear. Please make sure all garden items such as garden toys, swings, slides, patio furniture, rubbish etc. are removed from the area where the castle is to be sited.

15. When I hire the castle is there anything I need to provide?
We supply all the hardware you will need for the castle, you will need to provide a 240 volts mains power supply, also you will need to provide 2 forms of I.D. i.e. Drivers Licence, Utility Bill etc. this forms part of the hire agreement. Also a contact telephone number when booking, if we can not get hold of you by phone on the day of delivery, we reserve the right to cancel any bookings.

16. Do you supply safety instructions?
Yes we provide detailed safety instructions with every hire.

17. Is there an age limit for children using the castle?
Yes all our childrens bouncy castles castles are suitable for children up to and including the age of 12 unless otherwise stated. We also have a good selection of adult bouncy castles suitable for all ages.

18. Checos reserve to right to offer an alternative item or service, if the item booked has been damaged or is no longer available, giving the hirer the option to cancel or continue with the alternative's offered, upto the start of the hire, if the hirer is not happy with anything during their hire this must be mentioned to a member of staff during the hire or on the same days as the hire.

19. Checos does not supply equipment to third party companies under an circumstance.

20. All bouncy castles and inflatables must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the hire, if the inflatable hire is for a public, school or corporate event / area we must have written permission from either the council or owner of the property, plus equipment must be supervised by Checos trained staff at an extra cost please email prior to booking for costs.

21. Bouncy castle & inflatables will only be set up in privately owned gardens not on council ground with prior permission received by the local council.

22. We only set up bouncy castles & inflatables outdoors on real grass gardens, not artificial or Astro turf and also not on any hard standing ie patios, driveways etc. Direct access is required for all bookings. We will not be able to carry heavy equipment without parking directly outside or access to drive on grass.

23. To hire inflatables or bouncy castles for events they must be supervised by a member of our staff to be covered by our insurance or you will need to provide your own public liability insurance including the inflatable or bouncy castles. If suppling your own insurance we must receive a copy of this at least 48 hours prior to the booking. Supervision is charged at £15 per hour, some inflatable will require at least 2 supervisors so please contact to discuss before booking.

Children’s Disco Hire including party packages

6. How long do I get the Children’s disco package or party package for?
Most childrens discos and packages are for 2 hours unless otherwise stated on the description, bookings are available from 10am to 8pm. You will have the options of times available in the booking form or call us on 07551 578220.

7. Do you supply the Dj and party helper with childrens discos ?
Yes you will get one of our experienced childrens dj’s plus a party helper who will organise the games and prizes plus do some party dancing at the front with the children.

Unfortunately the disco and electrical equipment cannot be operated outdoors if wet or windy weather conditions due to safety but discos can be set up in houses if there is enough space to do so. Or can be moved to a community hall or indoor venue within the same times as booked.

12. Do you supply prizes with the kids disco packages ?
Yes we do supply prizes for all the games we organise throughout the party.

13. How long does it take to set up and pack away ?
Most party packages take at least 30 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to pack up. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which package you hire. Please note it is your responsibility to make sure we have a suitable parking/drop area and cover any parking charges that may occur.
